Job summary

National Vision, through America’s Best, seeks an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to lead the eyeglass department, drive sales, and manage daily store operations. You will supervise staff, ensure customer service excellence, and maintain compliance with company policies while supporting overall store profitability.

The role emphasizes staff development, inventory control, and partnerships with managers to deliver a high-quality shopping experience for customers across our stores.

Qualifications

• Optical sales experience required; supervising experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities to manage associates.
• Solid understanding of store operations and performance standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for team management.
• Strong organizational skills for planning and tracking goals.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (P&L).
• Oversee eyeglass department efficiency and policy compliance.
• Promote outstanding customer service across the team.
• Ensure quality standards and handle remakes according to policy.
• Report store performance to General/ District Managers and Corporate.
