America’s Best, part of National Vision, is hiring an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to oversee day-to-day store operations, staff supervision, and inventory control. You will help drive profitability while ensuring an exceptional customer experience and adherence to company policies.

The role focuses on supervising optical sales teams, coaching associates, and coordinating with store leadership to meet performance targets and deliver quality eye care and eyewear at a low price.

Qualifications

• Experience in optical sales and supervising staff preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Strong understanding of store operations and standards for success.
• Excellent communication skills for managing teams.
• Strong organizational skills for planning and monitoring progress toward goals.
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
• Problem solving across varied scopes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (i.e. reviewing the P&L).
• Oversee the eyeglass department to ensure efficiency and policy compliance.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure staff do the same.
• Review quality standards, remakes, and enforce policies for compliance.
• Communicate with management and corporate offices and provide store reporting.
• Manage promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising awareness.
• Supervise and motivate staff to meet performance targets.
• Forecast staffing needs, recruiting, and retaining qualified staff.
