Job summary

National Vision, the owner of America’s Best, is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to oversee store operations, eyewear sales, staff coaching and visual merchandising. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service while driving profitability and ensuring compliance with company policies.

The position involves supervising eyewear staff, coordinating promotions, forecasting staffing needs, and reporting to management. A background in optical retail and leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in optical retail and customer service.
• Ability to coach and develop associates.
• Strong understanding of store operations and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (review P&L).
• Oversee eyeglass department efficiency and policy compliance.
• Lead and motivate Opticians and Sales staff; coordinate staffing and training.
• Communicate store reporting with managers and corporate office.
• Ensure promotions, advertising and visual merchandising are in place.
