Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking skilled Opticians to join our in-house optical team in Pittsburgh. You will become an expert in our brand and glasses, delivering exceptional customer service while helping customers see clearly.

You will take measurements, fit eyewear, explain prescription terminology, and collaborate with teammates to promote best practices and brand values. Licensing or ABO certification is required and full-time roles include a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician as required by state licensing rules.
• ABO certification preferred in non-licensing states.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and fittings.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to assess eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer specs.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings clearly.
• Collaborate with team to maintain exceptional customer service.
• Help customers choose frames based on prescription, style, and lifestyle.
• Contribute to team best practices for sales and service.
• Represent the brand and educate customers about Warby Parker values.
