Stanton Optical is hiring for a Store Associate to be the welcoming first touchpoint for patients in our Davenport location. You will support the clinical and retail teams to deliver outstanding customer service, promote services, and help with fittings and product selection.

The role emphasizes patient-centric service, efficient store operations, and accurate processing of orders. A strong customer focus, 2+ years in service, and an associate degree or higher are desired.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond high school, or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients/customers.
• Effective communication with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, rapport-building and empathy with patients.
• Proactive problem solving and responsiveness to concerns.
• Collaborative spirit with the team and patients.
• Results-driven with ability to multitask and adapt to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers, identify needs, promote products/services and facilitate sales.
• Foster strong partnership between retail and professional services.
• Schedule/confirm appointments, enter patient history, perform pre-tests and basic eye tests.
• Assist management with patient complaints and keep status updates for all jobs.
• Maintain brand standards and housekeeping as needed.
• Assist with lens edging, repairs, and on-time delivery of orders.
• Monitor lab area for quality and notify about issues or delays.
• Track delivery time commitments to patients and ensure 100% compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
