Stanton Optical in the United States is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to provide outstanding patient service at our on-site store and to help drive sales. You will bridge the gap between retail and clinical services, ensuring a smooth patient flow.

The role emphasizes greeting patients, conducting basic pre-tests, scheduling, and assisting in lab tasks to deliver accurate, timely eyeglasses while maintaining brand standards and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond high school; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, build rapport, and empathize with patients.
• Proactive problem solving skills to address patient concerns.
• Collaborative spirit, with team-oriented mindset.
• Results-driven with ability to multitask and adapt to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store and identify needs to ensure a memorable experience while promoting products/services.
• Foster partnership between the retail team and professional services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, enter patient history, perform pre-tests and basic evaluations.
• Assist management with patient complaints and inform status of all jobs to meet expectations.
• Maintain brand standards with housekeeping duties as needed.
• Assist with lens edging and assembly to expedite delivery and ensure accuracy.
• Monitor lab area standards and report equipment issues or delays.
• Track delivery times to patients to ensure on-time service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
