Job summary

Affinity Eye Care in Alexandria, MN seeks an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will assist patients in selecting frames and lenses, measure for proper fit, and ensure accurate dispensing. You will interpret prescriptions and manage order status in our EHR system.

Qualifications

• High School or GED qualification required.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum one year experience as an Optician preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA requirements preferred.
• PC skills include MS Office, Windows, and word processing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and sales abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an extraordinary patient experience with eyewear recommendations.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and treatments.
• Interpret prescriptions and verify order accuracy in the EHR system.
• Communicate with technicians and managers on order status.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the practice.
