Responsibilities

• Assist patients with frame selection & styling, and give advice on the best lens options based on lifestyle and needs.
• Submit orders electronically, check the quality of glasses made, bill insurance for orders.
• Maintain inventory via an online ordering system and meet with frame reps.
• Establish and maintain excellent customer service by providing prompt, courteous, and professional service.
• Schedule appointments, collect necessary patient information.
• Perform Pre-test screenings on patients for the doctor.
• Verify patient's insurance eligibility.
• Be willing to be cross-trained in other areas of optometry to improve office efficiency and take on additional tasks as needed.
