Job summary

Eye-Associates-of-Alexandria- is seeking an optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and outstanding patient care on-site in Alexandria, MN. You will assist patients with frames, lenses, and coatings, interpret prescriptions, and ensure precise dispensing and adjustments.

This role emphasizes excellent customer service, sales skills, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with technicians and physicians to deliver quality eye care to our community.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: High School or GED.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Experience in optician role or medical setting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Delivers exceptional patient experience and explains product recommendations.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and treatments based on lifestyle and prescription.
• Interpret prescriptions and enter information into EHR system accurately.
• Ensure proper eyewear fit, adjustments, and maintenance; resolve order issues promptly.
