Qualifications

• One to two years of experience in related field.
• State licensure or certification as an optician where required by state.
• Working knowledge of MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find eyeglasses and contact lenses that match prescriptions.
• Determine patient needs and provide recommendations for eyewear.
• Assist with selecting frames and coordinate measurements with prescriptions.
• Recommend lenses, coatings, and frames to suit customer needs.
• Take measurements, assist with adjustments, and dispense eyewear.
• Ensure pricing and delivery quotes are accurate.
• Provide enthusiastic, concise communication and build patient relationships.
• Maintain display merchandise and assist with insurance processing.
• Document patient communication in practice software.
• Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
