Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in related field.
• State licensure or certification as an optician if required by state.
• Working knowledge of MS Office package.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective verbal communication to manage inquiries and provide service.
• Excellent interpersonal and rapport-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine reason for visit and recommend eyewear based on prescription.
• Attract and retain customers through exceptional service and patient satisfaction.
• Assist customers in selecting frames; coordinate frames with optical measurements and prescriptions.
• Recommend lenses, coatings, and frames to suit needs and features.
• Take measurements, assist with adjustments and dispense eyewear.
• Ensure pricing and delivery quotes are accurate.
