Physicians Eyecare Group seeks a Doctor Technician to deliver outstanding patient service in our Bakersfield store, supporting clinical duties and ensuring a smooth transition to the retail team for an excellent patient experience.

We value at least 1 year of customer service, an associate degree or higher, and strong communication. Optical retail experience is a plus; benefits include medical, dental, life and disability coverage and free eyeglasses.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience delivering customer service to patients.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication with a diverse group of customers.
• Associate degree or higher certification; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• Schedule flexibility; hours determined by business needs.
• Microsoft Office 365 proficiency.
• Optical retail experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers as they enter the store and identify needs to promote products and services.
• Assist Management Team with patient concerns and resolve complaints; ensure timely order status.
• Support clinical staff with pre-testing and contact lens care under supervision.
• Maintain patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with retail and clinical teams to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
