Job summary

LensCrafters in Santa Clarita, CA is seeking an EyeCare Advisor to deliver exceptional value to customers by providing high-quality optometric interactions and a seamless patient experience. You will bridge brand storytelling with store performance, coordinating between doctor and retail teams while upholding HIPAA standards and accurate records.

In this role you’ll greet customers promptly, explain services, assist with frame selections, and ensure accurate processing of orders and payments.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.
• Preferred: experience in customer service, retail and/or optical.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers within 30 seconds.
• Answer the telephone promptly (3 rings).
• Explain required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records.
• Place contact lens orders and process invoices.
• Operate the POS system accurately.
• Support Optometrist and staff with patient care.
• Keep store displays neat and aligned with guidelines.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
