Job summary

LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica Group, seeks an EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and ensure top-tier patient care in-store. You will greet customers, explain services, help with frame selection, and support the optometrist and retail team to meet store goals.

The role emphasizes fast, accurate service, HIPAA-compliant records, and collaborative teamwork with doctors and staff, in a part-time capacity at our Alabama location.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Organization skills.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers promptly and provides attentive service.
• Explains required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information with attention to detail.
• Coordinates with Optician/Doctor for special needs.
• Maintains HIPAA-compliant records and ensures organized filing.
• Operates the POS system and processes payments accurately.
• Assists in frame and lens selection to match lifestyle and budget.
• Pre-examination testing and patient guidance in proper care.
