Job summary

LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking an EyeCare Advisor for a part-time role. You will deliver the LensCrafters Experience by greeting customers, explaining tests and products, and supporting both the optometry and retail teams to provide high-quality eye care and service.

You will handle frame and lens selections, process transactions at the POS, and maintain store standards while ensuring HIPAA-compliant record handling and timely customer care.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Sales skills and basic math.
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers within 30 seconds.
• Answer telephone promptly (3 rings) in a friendly manner.
• Explain paperwork, tests, products, and services.
• Review prescriptions carefully and consult when needed.
• Assist with frame and lens selection for vision and budget.
• Operate POS system accurately and securely.
• Maintain store appearance and visual displays.
