Job summary

LensCrafters is hiring a Part-Time EyeCare Advisor to create a premium patient experience. You will greet customers, explain tests and products, and coordinate with the Optometrist and retail team to ensure high-quality care and efficient service.

Qualified applicants have strong customer service and communication skills, basic math and cash-handling abilities, and knowledge of fashion and eyewear trends. This on-site role offers benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to solve problems and handle transactions accurately.
• Good organization and math skills; comfortable with cash handling.
• Knowledge of fashion trends and store merchandise.
• Familiarity with cash registers, computers and calculators.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and assist with frame and lens selection.
• Explain paperwork, tests, products, and services to patients.
• Review prescriptions carefully and coordinate with Optician/Management when needed.
• Operate the POS system accurately and process payments securely.
• Ensure store displays follow company guidelines and keep the area clean and organized.
• Maintain patient records per HIPAA regulations and protect sensitive information.
• Provide pre-examination support and guidance on contact lenses and care.
