Job summary

LensCrafters is hiring a part-time EyeCare Advisor to deliver exceptional service and ensure high-quality patient experiences. You will greet customers, explain services, and coordinate with the Optometrist and retail team to meet store goals.

Role involves assisting with eyewear selections, handling prescriptions, and processing payments while maintaining HIPAA compliance and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Organization skills.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers quickly and warmly to create a positive first impression.
• Answer phone calls promptly and courteously.
• Explain paperwork, tests, products and services clearly.
• Review prescriptions and patient information accurately and coordinate with Optician/Management as needed.
• Demonstrate courtesy to all customers and handle difficult situations professionally.
• Maintain accurate patient records and HIPAA compliance.
• Operate POS system accurately for transactions and payments.
• Convey store promotions and ensure product displays align with guidelines.
