Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optometric Technician to work closely with Optometrists in our stores. You will manage high patient volumes, perform pre-testing, and support contact lens training while maintaining accurate data and compliance with privacy regulations.

You will also assist with appointment flow, support the store team, and help prepare reports for medical professionals. A commitment to excellent patient experiences in a retail setting is essential.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between doctor and patient to build rapport.
• Collect preliminary clinical data (autorefraction, visual acuity, eye pressure, etc.).
• Support in-person and video-assisted eye exams where available.
• Train new staff on insertion/removal training for contact lenses.
• Assist with booking processes and follow-ups to ensure seamless appointments.
• Maintain organized exam rooms, restock supplies, and ensure cleanliness.
