Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optometric Technician to work closely with our optometrists in our stores. You will assist with pre-testing, data collection, contact lens training, and supporting both in-person and video-assisted eye exams to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical environment preferred.
• CPOT certification or optometric training required.
• Familiar with HIPAA/PIPEDA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between doctor and patient, establishing rapport.
• Perform preliminary clinical data collection (autorefraction, acuity, eye pressure, pupil testing).
• Support in-person and video-assisted eye exams when available.
• Train new contact lens insertion/removal techniques for team members.
• Assist with appointment confirmation, outreach, and follow-up to ensure smooth visits.
• Maintain organized exam rooms, stocking supplies, and keeping equipment clean.
