Job summary

Kovach Eye Institute, Ltd. is seeking a Scribe to support physicians in the clinic. No prior experience required; we provide training and a path to grow in patient care.

The role includes data entry during exams, assisting with testing, scheduling, and maintaining an organized exam environment. The position offers an hourly wage starting at $18.00+ based on experience, with benefits including health, dental, and 401(k), plus a company-paid certification program and holidays/PTO growth

Qualifications

• Proficient in EHR and data entry with accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into the patient record during exams as directed by the doctor.
• Assist optometrist/ophthalmologist with procedures and patient care.
• Guide patients to Optical and introduce to the Optician, per doctor’s recommendations.
• Manage patient scheduling and flow, communicating delays as needed.
• Prepare exam rooms, maintain supplies, and ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Take on additional duties assigned by leadership as needed.
