Job summary

Cataract & Laser Institute is seeking a Scribe to support physicians during patient exams by transcribing data into the EHR, enabling doctors to optimize patient time. You will help with clinical tasks, scheduling, and room preparation, while ensuring a smooth patient experience.

No experience? We provide a trainers team to help you learn the role. You will grow with the clinic and contribute to compassionate patient care in a fast-paced ophthalmology setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous experience in optometry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into the patient medical record during exams.
• Assist doctors and technicians with patient procedures.
• Escort patients and coordinate scheduling and flow in the office.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain inventory of supplies.
• Provide a clean, safe environment for patients and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
