Job summary

VSP Vision is seeking an onsite patient services coordinator in California to deliver a high-quality patient experience from check-in through checkout. You will guide patients, document and secure information, and support scheduling while maintaining a welcoming, efficient front desk environment.

Responsibilities include triaging inquiries, handling payments, and coordinating with doctors and staff to ensure flawless patient transitions throughout the eye care journey.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of administrative experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out to ensure smooth flow.
• Document patient information, update records, and process payments.
• Answer calls, emails, and faxes, triage inquiries promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality and secure patient files.
• Coordinate appointments and prep charts for scheduled patients.
• Perform administrative tasks and support other departments as needed.
