Job summary

The Patient Coordinator position at Eagle Vision Eye Care, part of VSP Vision, is a full-time role in Sacramento focused on delivering a high-quality patient experience. Qualifications

• One to two years of administrative experience with at least one year providing administrative support
• Demonstrated ability to successfully perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of MS Office package
• Effective verbal communication skills to prioritize multiple tasks and to be available for incoming calls and inquiries
• Effective written communication skills to clearly document customer situations, as well as prepare letters to confirm agreements made

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and manage check-in and check-out to ensure high patient satisfaction
• Document patient information, update records, and collect payments
• Answer and triage inquiries via telephone, email and fax
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
• Coordinate scheduling of patient appointments and prepare charts
• Perform confidential administrative functions and transmit patient information to outside agencies
• Keep front desk organized and support cross-departmental projects
• Complete additional duties as assigned
