Job summary

Physicians Eyecare Group in Santa Fe, NM seeks a Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) to deliver integrative optometric and ocular care on-site. You will perform comprehensive eye exams and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient eye health.

Requirements include NM NP license, DEA registration, MSN or DNP, and 2 years NP experience in primary care, ophthalmology, or integrative medicine. Strong EHR/EMR skills are essential; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted NP license in NM.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility in NM.
• MSN or DNP from an accredited program.
• Minimum 2 years NP experience; ophthalmology or integrative care preferred.
• Proficient with EHR/EMR and clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams including acuity, refraction, and anterior/posterior segment evaluation.
• Co-manage pre- and post-operative care for cataract/LASIK and other procedures.
• Order and review imaging such as OCT and visual fields as appropriate.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and support staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and participate in quality initiatives.
