Job summary

Physicians Eyecare Group seeks a Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) to provide comprehensive eye care in our New Mexico clinics. You will perform ocular assessments, participate in integrative care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates have an NP license in NM, DEA registration, and 2+ years of NP experience in ophthalmology or integrative medicine. This on-site role supports pre/post-operative care and diagnostic services.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP license in New Mexico.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility in NM.
• MSN or DNP from an accredited program.
• Minimum 2 years NP experience; ophthalmology or integrative care preferred.
• Proficiency with EHR/EMR systems and clinical documentation.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams including acuity testing and ocular assessments.
• Co-manage pre- and post-operative care for cataract/LASIK patients.
• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions and systemic connections.
• Order diagnostic imaging and refer to ophthalmologists when needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EHR.
