Job summary

Physicians Eyecare Group is seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) to join our new eyecare center in New Mexico. You will provide comprehensive eye care, perform ocular assessments, and collaborate with ophthalmologists to deliver integrative optometric care.

Active NM NP license, DEA, and MSN/DNP are required. Two years of NP experience, preferably in ophthalmology, with EHREMR proficiency, is desired.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license issued by the New Mexico Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams including visual acuity testing and refraction assessments.
• Co manage pre and post operative care for cataract surgery, LASIK, and other ophthalmic procedures.
• Order diagnostic imaging and ocular testing (OCT, visual fields, fundus photography).
• Refer patients to ophthalmologists or specialists when indicated.
• Provide integrative optometric care and patient education on eye health and wellbeing.
