Job summary

ZEISS seeks a Business Development Representative to drive growth in the Oklahoma territory by engaging eye care professionals and promoting Carl Zeiss Vision products and services. You will source, develop, and manage new business through consultative selling and disciplined account planning.

You will use Salesforce for targeting, forecasting, and reporting, building strong relationships with ECPs and partners, and coordinating with marketing and sales leadership to achieve territory goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a successful B2B sales environment, preferably Rx sales, optical, medical device or retail operations with Fortune 500 companies.
• In lieu of outside sales experience, 5+ years of optical sales is sufficient.
• Strong sales focus with the ability to move opportunities through the sales cycle.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales growth targets for Direct Rx and other strategic targets.
• Identify key customer targets using Salesforce.com to increase territory sales.
• Profile customer stores and develop value-based sales strategies.
• Lead sales conversations and close agreements with ECPs.
