You will sell residential and commercial building materials to contractor customers and strategically grow new relationships in the industry. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will use exclusive sales tools and a commission-based package to maximize

Qualifications

• College degree (Business, Sales or other related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Specific industry knowledge is preferred but not required
• Must have valid driver’s license, own reliable transportation, pass MVR check, and vehicle insurance must meet company requirements
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Superior time management and organization skills

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage customer relationships
• Utilize sales reports to identify opportunities in customer buying patterns
• Make cold calls to prospective customers
• Follow leads and schedule appointments with prospects
• Follow up with customers and provide solutions to service concerns
• Provide training to customers and their teams on products and services
• Assist customers in the credit application process
• Connect with customers to ensure past due bills are paid and collect payments when necessary
