Job summary

Sunroad Auto in San Diego, CA, is seeking an Express Service Advisor I to be the first point of contact for customers seeking quick maintenance. You will accurately assess service needs and communicate options and pricing while guiding customers through service processes.

In this non-exempt role, you will coordinate express service appointments, assist technicians, and upsell relevant services. A valid CA license and good driving record are required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of customer service experience preferably in an automotive service environment.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record; required to have California driver’s license within 30 days following date of hire.
• At least one year of verifiable driving experience.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
• Ability to perform all essential functions of the job description.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously as they arrive for express service appointments; explain service options and pricing.
• Perform initial vehicle inspections to determine service needs.
• Provide recommendations for additional services based on manufacturer guidelines.
• Schedule and manage appointments for express services.
• Ensure parts and resources are available to complete services.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Communicate with customers regarding service status and changes.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
