Southern Auto Group in Chesapeake, VA is seeking an Express Advisor to efficiently assist Oil Change customers and coordinate fast, safe service. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, automotive training or experience, and a valid license with a clean record.

ASE is a plus and a positive, professional demeanor is essential. The candidate will schedule service, make repair recommendations, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience.
• One year of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred.
• ASE certification (or willingness to obtain) desired.
• Unrestricted driver's license with clean driving record.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Schedules service for customers in person or on the phone to ensure prompt and accurate diagnosis of problems.
• Makes repair recommendations and manages the delivery of repairs by setting and managing customer expectations.
• Ensures that the required documentation is complete and in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures.
• Attends all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required.
• Helps educate/train new staff members.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
