Job summary

Iteris is seeking an Express Lane Operator to identify, communicate, and document roadway and tolling events within the MTC Express Lane Network. The role monitors toll rate changes based on traffic and coordinates with MTC, Caltrans, and TransCore.

Part-time with Saturday/Sunday shifts 9:00am–4:00pm and potential weekday support. The position pays an hourly rate of $41.37 and involves reporting, incident response, and system audits.

Responsibilities

• Respond to, communicate, and document roadway incidents within MTC's Express Lane network.
• Identify, communicate, and document Toll Collection System issues and failures.
• Monitor and evaluate Dynamic Pricing Algorithm, and recommend toll price changes.
• Coordinate with agency and consultant staff on incident response and issue resolution.
• Perform ad-hoc and scheduled operational and system audits.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Prepare and send the shift report.
• Provide after-hours and emergency system performance support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
