Job summary

Iteris, Inc. seeks an Express Lane Operator to identify, communicate, and document events in the MTC Express Lane Network. The role monitors toll pricing and messaging, coordinating with agency staff and consultants to resolve incidents and ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include daily incident response, TCS issue tracking, and performance reporting, with after-hours support. Weekend staffing may be required, and familiarity with transportation management is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Proficient in MS Office and computing.
• Public sector/transportation familiarity is a plus.
• Weekend work may be required as needed for operations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and document roadway incidents within MTC’s Express Lane network.
• Identify and document Toll Collection System (TCS) issues and failures.
• Monitor dynamic pricing and recommend toll price changes based on traffic."
• Coordinate incident response with agency and consultant staff
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports; send shift reports as required
• Provide after-hours and emergency system performance support
• Perform other duties as assigned
