Job summary

The Center for Integrative and Experiential Learning (CIEL) seeks a Program Advisor and Event Coordinator to counsel students on Graduation with Leadership Distinction (GLD) and support their integrative learning projects, including ePortfolios and presentations.

You will help plan and execute GLD events, such as Fall Showcase and cording ceremonies, and lead alumni initiatives by managing contacts, surveys, and gatherings in collaboration with university partners.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 2+ years of related experience.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with experiential learning programs or initiatives.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and ePortfolio platforms.
• Knowledge of higher education policies and regulations related to student programs and graduation requirements.
• Familiarity with assessment practices and tools for evaluating student learning outcomes.
• Experience with event planning and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Advise students on Graduation with Leadership Distinction (GLD) and support their development of integrative learning (e.g., presentations and ePortfolios).
• Coordinate annual GLD-related events (Fall Showcase, cording ceremonies, Write Nite, etc.).
• Organize and lead GLD alumni initiatives by maintaining contact information, conducting surveys, and planning events.
