Job summary

College Living Experience (CLE) is seeking an Independent Living Skills Coordinator to lead CLE’s ILS programming, supervise staff, and support students in daily living, academics, and transition goals.

You will balance direct student services with administrative duties, mentor staff, coordinate services, and ensure accurate documentation and scheduling across CLE centers and community sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social science, or a related field, with a minimum of three years of relevant experience working with special needs students.
• Experience supporting neurodivergent young adults strongly preferred.
• Experience supervising staff or leading programs preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and participate in Independent Living Skills instruction, including meal planning and preparation, household organization, financial instruction, and self-care.
• Provide instruction, consultation, and coaching to students in life skills such as conflict resolution, self-monitoring, and time management.
• Use individualized coaching, prompting, modeling, reinforcement, and skill-building strategies to support student independence.
• Adapt instruction and support strategies based on individual student needs, strengths, and learning styles.
• Assist students with medication routines and, when appropriate, support prescription refill coordination.
• Transport students to employment sites, internships, and other approved program-related locations.
