Job summary

University of South Carolina's Center for Integrative and Experiential Learning seeks a Program Advisor/Outreach Coordinator to advise students on Graduation with Leadership Distinction, develop their integrative learning experiences, and coordinate annual GLD events. The role also manages GLD alumni initiatives and data, in collaboration with CIEL staff and university partners.

The position supports students across the Columbia campus, with a focus on constructing ePortfolios and coordinating

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience.
• Familiarity with learning management systems and ePortfolio platforms.
• Knowledge of higher education policies and regulations related to student academic programs and graduation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Advise students concerning Graduation with Leadership Distinction and provide ongoing mentorship.
• Develop and evaluate GLD ePortfolios with students and provide feedback.
• Coordinate annual CIEL events (Fall Showcase, cording ceremonies, Write Nite, etc).
• Organize and lead GLD alumni initiatives and maintain alumni records.
