Experienced Revenue Cycle Manager - Home Infusion

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Collections Manager to oversee the Miscellaneous Accounts Receivables Teams (including Aetna, Cigna, Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid payers). Responsibilities include managing denials, preparing appeals, and ensuring reimbursements align with contracts. The role involves quality reviews, staff training, and policy documentation.

Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills, in-depth knowledge of collection practices, and compliance with federal and state regulations.

Job Summary

The Collections Manager is responsible for overseeing collection staff, managing daily operations, and ensuring maximized cash flow. Key functions include contract analysis, reimbursement, denial management, appeals, and resolving billing issues, along with routine quality reviews and policy updates.

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s preferred.
  • 5-7 years healthcare industry experience required.
  • Home Infusion and Intrathecal Pain Management experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years Revenue Cycle Management experience required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee collections operations, including contract analysis, denials, claims monitoring, and staff productivity.
  • Act as SME for collection and billing processes.
  • Coordinate with other departments for information needed for claims.
  • Prepare and analyze bi-weekly and monthly reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and guidelines.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and motivate staff, including remote team members.
  • Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of NDC, medical terminology, and insurance plans.
  • Participate in hiring, training, and performance reviews.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements
  • Understanding of Revenue Cycle Management functions.
  • Good judgment and legal compliance.
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills.
  • Integrity, confidentiality, and HIPAA knowledge.
  • Proficiency in ICD-9/10, medical terminology, Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to lead a diverse team and adapt to change.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
