Experienced Revenue Cycle Manager - Home Infusion

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Collections Manager to join our dynamic team. This role involves directing the daily activities of the Miscellaneous Accounts Receivables Teams (including payers like Aetna, Cigna, Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial insurers) to maximize reimbursements. Responsibilities include managing denials, preparing appeals, and ensuring reimbursements align with contracts. The manager will also perform quality reviews, identify training needs, and help document policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, in-depth knowledge of collection practices, and compliance with Federal and State billing and collection regulations.

Job Summary

The Collections Manager is a full-time role overseeing collection staff and daily operations for AIS Healthcare’s TDD services. This includes contract analysis, reimbursement, denial management, appeals, and resolving billing issues with insurance companies. The manager will perform quality reviews, identify training needs, and document policies and procedures.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5-7 years in the healthcare industry required.
• Experience in Home Infusion and Intrathecal Pain Management preferred.
• 3-5 years of Revenue Cycle Management experience required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee collections operations, including contract analysis, AR, denials, claims monitoring, adjustments, appeals, and staff productivity.
• Serve as SME for collection and billing processes.
• Coordinate with other departments for patient and insurance information.
• Prepare and analyze bi-weekly and monthly financial reports and scorecards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory mandates and participate in policy development.
• Supervise collection staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of NDC numbers, infusion supplies, insurance plans, medical terminology, and coding.
• Foster team collaboration and positive interactions.
• Manage hiring, scheduling, and staff performance reviews.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
