Experienced Revenue Cycle Manager - Home Infusion

AIS Healthcare seeks an experienced and motivated Accounts Receivable Collections Manager to join our dynamic team. This role involves directing the daily activities of the Miscellaneous Accounts Receivables Teams (including payers like Aetna, Cigna, Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid) to maximize reimbursements. The Manager oversees these teams, managing denials, preparing appeals, and ensuring reimbursements align with contracted payors. Responsibilities include quality reviews, training needs assessment, and policy documentation.

The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication skills, deep knowledge of collection practices, and compliance with Federal and State billing and collection regulations.

Job Summary

The Collections Manager is a full-time role overseeing collection staff and daily operations related to AIS Healthcare’s TDD services. Responsibilities include contract analysis, reimbursement, denial management, appeals, and resolving billing issues with insurance or other responsible parties. The Manager performs quality reviews, identifies training needs, and helps develop policies and procedures.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5-7 years of healthcare industry experience required.
• Home Infusion and Intrathecal Pain Management experience preferred.
• 3-5 years Revenue Cycle Management experience required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee collections operations, including contract analysis, AR, denials, claims monitoring, adjustments, appeals, and staff productivity.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for collection and billing processes.
• Coordinate with other departments for patient or insurance information.
• Prepare and analyze bi-weekly and monthly reports and scorecards.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory procedures.
• Perform quality reviews and improve collection and billing efficiency.
• Ensure activities follow federal, state, and payer regulations.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures.
• Analyze trends and adjust staffing and policies accordingly.
• Supervise collection staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of NDC, infusion supplies, insurance plans, and medical codes.
• Share knowledge and work collaboratively.
• Conduct staff hiring, scheduling, and performance reviews.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
