Experienced Revenue Cycle Manager - Home Infusion

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Receivable Collections Manager to join our team. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Miscellaneous Accounts Receivables Teams, including payers such as Aetna, Cigna, Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid, to maximize reimbursements. Responsibilities include managing denials, preparing appeals, and ensuring reimbursements align with contracts. The manager will also perform quality reviews, identify training needs, and help document policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, deep knowledge of collection practices, and compliance with federal and state billing and collection regulations.

Job Summary

The Collections Manager is a full-time role responsible for supervising the collection staff and making operational decisions to ensure optimal cash flow. This includes contract analysis, reimbursement processes, denial management, appeals, and resolving billing issues with insurers or responsible parties. The manager will also conduct quality reviews, identify training needs, and document policies and procedures.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5-7 years of healthcare industry experience required.
• Home Infusion or Intrathecal Pain Management experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of Revenue Cycle Management experience required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee collections operations, including contract analysis, A/R, denials, claims monitoring, adjustments, and appeals.
• Serve as SME for collection and billing processes.
• Coordinate with other departments for information needed for claims.
• Prepare and analyze bi-weekly and monthly reports.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory mandates.
• Conduct quality reviews and improve efficiency.
• Supervise staff, including work allocation, training, and performance management.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of NDC numbers, infusion supplies, insurance plans, and medical coding.
• Share knowledge and work collaboratively.
• Manage staff scheduling, hiring, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Perform other related duties.
