Experienced Revenue Cycle Manager - Home Infusion

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Collections Manager to oversee our Miscellaneous Accounts Receivable Teams, including payers like Aetna, Cigna, Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial insurers. Responsibilities include managing denials, preparing appeals, and ensuring reimbursements align with contracted payors. The manager will perform quality reviews, identify training needs, and help document policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, in-depth knowledge of collection practices, and compliance with federal and state regulations related to billing and collections.

Job Summary

The Collections Manager is a full-time role responsible for directing collection staff and managing daily operations to maximize cash flow. This includes contract analysis, reimbursement, denial management, appeals, and resolving billing issues with insurance companies. The role involves quality reviews, staff training, and policy documentation.

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s preferred.
  • 5-7 years of healthcare industry experience required.
  • Experience in Home Infusion or Intrathecal Pain Management is preferred.
  • 3-5 years Revenue Cycle Management experience required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee collections operations, including contract analysis, denials, claims monitoring, and staff productivity.
  • Serve as SME for collection and billing processes.
  • Coordinate with other departments for information needed for claims.
  • Prepare and analyze bi-weekly and monthly reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory mandates.
  • Perform quality reviews and improve collection and billing efficiency.
  • Supervise staff, including training and performance management.
  • Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of medical codes, insurance plans, and infusion supplies.
Qualifications
  • Understanding of Revenue Cycle Management functions.
  • Strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills.
  • Integrity and credibility.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, ICD-9/10, and medical terminology.
  • Leadership ability in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
