Experienced Revenue Cycle Manager - Home Infusion

AIS Healthcare seeks an experienced Accounts Receivable Collections Manager to join our team! This role involves directing the daily activities of the Miscellaneous Accounts Receivables Teams (covering Aetna, Cigna, Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid payers) to maximize reimbursements. The Manager oversees activities like managing denials, preparing appeals, and ensuring reimbursements align with contracted payors. The role includes performing quality reviews, identifying training needs, and documenting policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, deep knowledge of collection practices, and compliance with Federal and State billing and collection regulations.

Job Summary

The Collections Manager is a full-time role responsible for overseeing collection staff and daily operations related to TDD services, including contract analysis, reimbursement, denial management, appeals, and billing issue resolution. The Manager will perform quality reviews, identify training needs, and help document policies and procedures.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5-7 years of healthcare industry experience required.
• Home Infusion and Intrathecal Pain Management experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of Revenue Cycle Management experience required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage operations of the collections department, including contract analysis, AR, denials, claims monitoring, adjustments, appeals, and staff productivity.
• Serve as SME for collection and billing processes.
• Coordinate with other departments for patient and insurance information.
• Prepare and analyze bi-weekly and monthly financial reports and scorecards.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory mandates.
• Perform quality reviews and improve collection and billing efficiency.
• Ensure activities adhere to federal, state, and payer regulations.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures.
• Analyze trends and adjust staff and policies accordingly.
• Supervise collection staff, including work allocation, training, and motivation.
• Manage staff scheduling and confidentiality, adhering to HIPAA.
• Maintain knowledge of NDC numbers, infusion supplies, insurance plans, and medical codes.
• Share knowledge and foster teamwork.
• Conduct staff hiring, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
