Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a diligent Loan Processor in Columbia, MD to provide quality customer service, collect and organize documentation, and ensure proper disclosures are issued.

Responsibilities include reviewing credit, employment, income and assets; assembling loan packages for underwriting; coordinating with Loan Officers and Underwriters; and maintaining accurate records to meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience.
• Experience with Encompass.
• Knowledge of RESPA regulations and general mortgage lending rules.

Responsibilities

• Review borrower’s credit, employment, income and assets for underwriting.
• Assemble the complete loan package in proper order for underwriting.
• Verify required documentation and pre-underwrite items.
• Prepare loan disclosures and ensure accuracy of printed documents.
• Coordinate with Loan Originator, customer, and Underwriter for required materials.
• Ensure compliance with mortgage regulations (RESPA, TIL, Reg B/Z).
• Maintain and log all communication related to loan applications.
