Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC, a nationwide mortgage lender, is seeking a Loan Officer Assistant/Disclosure Specialist in Columbia, MD. The role supports loan originators by reviewing files, preparing disclosures, and delivering documents to customers to ensure timely submissions.

You will verify fees, maintain accuracy, and communicate with partners to prevent TRID/RESPA violations while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience with RESPA/TRID and mortgage disclosures.
• Experience in the mortgage industry.
• Knowledge of the TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure Rule.
• FHA/VA/USDA knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review documents and entire loan files to highlight deficiencies and notify the mortgage loan officer.
• Clarify/correct information and obtain additional details from CCM customers via phone or email.
• Prepare disclosures and re-disclosures within 3 days of application or Change of Circumstance.
• Verify accuracy of fees to mitigate TRID/RESPA violations.
• Upload disclosures to Encompass and ensure compliance reviews pass.
• Communicate with Sales, Processing, Closing and Underwriting as needed.
• Respond to disclosure emails promptly and accurately.
