Position Overview

Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell, & Berkowitz, P.C. has an immediate opening for an experienced Litigation Paralegal. This position is flexible regarding location within the firm's footprint, including remote work options, with occasional travel for training, trial preparation, and in-person events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program
• Minimum of five years litigation experience
• Proficiency in managing, organizing, and reviewing complex litigation documents, including Relativity or similar platforms
• Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Asana (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Support trial counsel through all litigation stages
• Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery materials, and other documents
• Conduct factual investigations and assist in trial preparations
• Support during depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials
• Manage electronic and paper filings in state and federal courts
• Research court rules and navigate court websites

Skills and Attributes

• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed
• Experience recording billable hours accurately
