Position Overview:

Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell, & Berkowitz, P.C. has an immediate opening for an experienced Litigation Paralegal. This position can be based at any office location within the Firm's footprint, offering flexibility including remote work with occasional travel for training, trial preparation, and in-person events.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and/or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program
• Minimum of five years of litigation experience
• Proficiency in managing, organizing, and reviewing complex litigation documents, including Relativity or similar platforms
• Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Asana (strongly preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Support trial counsel throughout all litigation stages
• Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery materials, and litigation documents
• Conduct factual investigations and assist in trial preparation
• Support during depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials
• Manage electronic and paper filings in state and federal courts, adhering to court rules

Skills and Attributes:

• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed
• Experience recording billable hours accurately
