Job summary

Areas USA, Inc. is seeking a Cook for our Food & Beverage Operations. The role involves accurately and efficiently cooking meats, seafood, vegetables, soups and other hot items, shaping and garnishing plates, and preparing garnishes for all dishes.

The position requires at least 3 years in a full-service restaurant, strong English reading/writing skills, and the ability to work well in a team. Overtime and overnight differentials are available, with full-time hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• Culinary studies preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a full service restaurant.
• Proficient reading and writing English for tickets, recipes, safety and OSHA documentation.
• Ability to learn and promote a variety of menu items.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables and other items for cooking.
• Ensure all portions meet standard sizes and recipe specs.
• Stock and replenish items at line stations for smooth service.
• Record temperatures and maintain logs for safety and quality.
• Assist with closing the kitchen and attend scheduled meetings.
