C.H. Guenther is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure smooth operation of manufacturing equipment in a food processing environment. The role includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordinating with cross‑functional teams to minimize downtime.

Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing, strong mechanical/electrical skills, and knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and OSHA requirements. This is a full‑time, on‑site position in Denton, TX.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical school preferred.
• 5+ years in industrial manufacturing, preferably automated food processing.
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Familiarity with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and SCADA/HMI systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery (conveyors, mixers, packaging, refrigeration).
• Inspect, lubricate, adjust, and diagnose equipment to minimize downtime.
• Respond to emergency maintenance needs during production.
• Maintain sanitation and compliance with GMP/HACCP/OSHA.
• Document maintenance work orders and equipment history.
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams to prioritize tasks.
• Operate computer-based maintenance management system and record keeping.
