Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help keep our food manufacturing equipment and facilities operating safely and efficiently.

You will perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, packaging equipment, and refrigeration systems, and diagnose issues to minimize downtime. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, knowledge of PLCs/HMI/SCADA, and commitment to GMP/HACCP standards.

Qualifications

• Education/Certifications and Experience: High school diploma or GED; technical school preferred.
• 5 years’ related experience in industrial manufacturing environment, preferably automated food processing plant.
• 5 years’ experience troubleshooting and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery and refrigeration systems to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement effective repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the production area in compliance with GMP/HACCP.
• Document maintenance activities, work orders, and parts usage in the CMMS.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and safety teams and train staff on procedures.
