C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in a food manufacturing environment in Duncanville, TX.

The role focuses on maintaining production equipment, diagnosing issues, and performing repairs to minimize downtime while upholding sanitation and safety standards. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on conveyors and packaging equipment, inspections, and coordinating with production teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical school education preferred.
• 5 years’ related experience in industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in an automated food processing plant.
• 5 years’ experience troubleshooting and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery (conveyors, mixers, packaging, refrigeration).
• Conduct inspections, lubrication, and adjustments to ensure efficiency and meet production needs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions; diagnose root causes and repair to minimize downtime.
• Respond to emergencies with unscheduled repairs during production to prevent disruptions.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in production areas; ensure compliance with food safety standards.
