Job summary

The Maintenance Technician at C.H. Guenther will maintain and repair production equipment in our food manufacturing facilities, performing preventive maintenance, inspections, and timely repairs to minimize downtime.

Must troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, work with PLCs/SCADA, ensure GMP, HACCP, OSHA compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while supporting a safe, clean production area.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment; food processing preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, OSHA requirements.
• Familiarity with lockout/tagout and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery (conveyors, mixers, packaging, refrigeration).
• Diagnose and repair equipment to minimize downtime and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain sanitation and safety in production areas; monitor HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems.
